We advise all our families to book in advance as we are very popular these days and more than often, we will not have sitters or nannies available at short notice or once you arrive in Bali. We know this can be difficult as you don’t know you will be doing from day to day, but we suggest you book your block of hours with your nanny and work around when they will be there to help you with the children.

CASUAL BABYSITTING – MIN 4 HOURS PER DAY
We have 4 casual babysitters on staff who service the main areas of Bali for casual babysitting (Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Canggu, Berawa, Tuban, Jimbaran, Sanur). Although we always try, we cannot guarantee the same nanny for casual bookings or bookings on different days.
If you do require the same nanny each day, it would wise to choose a block of consecutive dates (e.g 7 days) and booking a full time holiday nanny with min 6+ hours per day.
Other areas such as Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Bingin, Ubud are not serviced by casual babysitters unless there is a min of 6 hours per day.
DAILY NANNIES – MIN 6 HOURS PER DAY
We have 34 Full time holiday nannies on staff that service all the main areas of Bali. The min booking time for our full time holiday nannies is 6+ hours per day on consecutive days (every day) in low seasons and 8+ hours per day on consecutive days (every day), in peak seasons.
If you book a nanny for 6+ hours per day on consecutive days (every day), you are welcome to organize and change the start time with your nanny on a daily basis, according to your needs.
If you require less hours than the 6 hours on any day, you are always welcome to let the nanny go earlier, but they will need to be paid for the minimum hours per day.
If you do not book on consecutive days (every day), we will do our best to place you with the same nanny, but we need to provide our nannies with as much work as possible, so we class these bookings as “casual bookings” and will usually allocate these bookings to whom we have available.
LIVE IN NANNIES
Live in nannies are priced at Approx $150 – $170 AUD per night. They must be provided with their own bed or a room they share with the children, all meals and refreshments.
Due to family commitments, we only have a few nannies available to do live in bookings and suggest you book well in advance. Live in nannies finish at 7am the next morning. Any additional hours required on the last day (after 7am), will be charged at the normal hourly rate.
1 or 2 Children
The cost per hour for up to 2 children will be $7.50 (75,000rp) AUD per hour
If you have 2 x children under 3 years old, for safety purposes you will require a 2nd nanny on your booking
The cost per hour for up to 3 children will be $10.50 (105,000rp) AUD per hour.
We only accept bookings for 3 children if 1 child is older than 8+ years, 1 x 6+ years and one younger child.
Otherwise we will insist on a 2nd nanny for safety reasons.
Max 4 Children
The cost per hour for up to 4 children will be $15.00 (150,000rp) AUD per hour. Not all of our nannies will take bookings with 4 children.
We only accept bookings for 4 children if 3 of the children are 8+ years, plus one younger child.
Otherwise we will insist on a 2nd nanny for safety reasons.
Overtime hours are additional hours that you have not paid a deposit for. We do not charge you an overtime fee, these hours are the same price as the full hourly rate. e.g You book for 6 hours per day and pay a deposit for 6 hours, but use the nanny for 8 hours in that same day, the last 2 hours will be charged at the full hourly rate.
*Overtime is to be paid in hourly blocks.
** Bookings finishing after midnight will attract a double time per hour fee x the number of hours after midnight payable directly to your nanny 12am – 1am
Unlike other services in Bali, there are no additional hidden fees in this cost such as session fees, break fees, meal fees etc. This is the total cost per hour for your nanny.
** Please note some of our travel fees have increased due to heavy traffic and petrol prices in Bali.

- Some areas of Uluwatu (Anantara Resort) & Bingin attract a fee of $12.00 / 120,000rp per day and accepting the booking is at our discretion.
- Our nannies should not work in Bingin past 9pm each day. If you would like them to work past 9pm, we will insist that our nannies are bought to you and picked up by our driver at an additional cost, to ensure their safety (approx 600,000rp paid directly to the driver).
Travel fees are paid directly to your nanny in Bali & is due to distance, heavy traffic and congestion in certain areas where it can often take our nannies 1 – 2 hours each way.
Please note: Ayana Resort, Jimbaran is much further than the main area of Jimbaran and actually located in Uluwatu.

Please note: Nightly cut-off times are in place to ensure the safety of our staff. Many of the areas listed above are not safe to travel at night on dark roads for a single woman traveling alone. Our staff can be subject to robberies and vehicle accidents, which is unacceptable.
11 – 12 HOUR BREAK BETWEEN BOOKING TIMES
Please note: Nannies must have a 11 – 12 hour break before returning the next day for safety reasons. They cannot return early in the morning if they finish late they night before. We suggest you book a different nanny for an early morning start should you require this, or you would like someone early the next day.
WHAT DO OUR NANNIES DO WHILE THEY ARE BABYSITTING?
Our nannies will fill all normal duties of a nanny / babysitter. They will happily play, teach, draw, create, swim or attend the theme parks with you. They are happy to supervise children attending kids club, prepare food and ensure the children are fed, bathed and put to bed at the time you nominate (with a bedtime story of course!). Our nannies often come with their own little activities and surprises to keep your children entertained – every day is a new day!

We will always try to meet your requests for certain nannies, but we will not change another families bookings to accommodate special requests. Our nannies are very popular and have many regular customers, we work on a first in, first served basis.
We will allocate you a nanny at the time of your booking. On occasion we may need to change your nanny due to unforeseen circumstances prior to the start of your booking. This can occur because of illness, ceremonial and personal commitments. We will always let you know if we need to make this change. Please understand that these things do happen at times, and they are out of our control.

SPECIAL NEEDS BOOKINGS
We do have a few staff that have worked with special needs children over the years. We require you to detail these needs to us in an email, prior to booking. Not all nannies will accept these bookings. Depending on the needs of the child, we may request you to book one nanny for the special needs child only.
MIN BOOKING TIMES – SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND PEAK PERIODS
Generally we do not take casual bookings or bookings with breaks between dates over these periods, as we usually have very long waiting lists. The only time we will accept these bookings is if we need to fill gaps in the nannies work schedule. You are welcome to inquire if casual bookings are available for these times but may need to be flexible and work with us around times already booked.
The min booking time for our full time holiday nannies is 8+ hours per day on consecutive days (every day) x 7 days, during school holidays and peak periods. If you book a nanny for 8+ hours per day on consecutive days (every day), you are welcome to organize and change the start time with your nanny on a daily basis, according to your needs.
** Please note: we need to take into consideration school holiday dates for all states & territories, public and private schools. Quite often these can spread across most of the school holiday designated month.

Following are our booking conditions, please understand that we are the most popular service in Bali (for good reason), and the following conditions have been applied to ensure a safe, fair working environment for all of our staff. Whilst there are other services that may exploit staff, this is not how we operate and we are blessed to have the best team on the island in which our nannies welfare and livelihood is paramount to our business.
As we often have long waiting lists, we require a booking deposit for all of our bookings. This booking deposit will be approx. 25% of your total booking. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit is paid. This guarantees the nanny is booked for your family only. If you do not inform us with 7+ days notice that there has been a change to your booking, your booking deposit is non-refundable as we are reserving the nanny specifically for your family, and we will not book the nanny work with another family for these dates.
Less than 7 days notice will also require the balance of the booking with the nanny to be paid in full.
BALANCE OF YOUR BOOKING
The booking deposit paid will be deducted from the final balance of your booking. This will be reflected on your final booking confirmation we send you. The balance is payable in Bali in Rupiah.
As we have already reserved the nanny for you, even if you do not use the full of amount of hours you initially booked for, unless you notify us of a change to your booking at least 7 days prior, the total booking balance is still payable to the nanny.
For this reason, we suggest you estimate as close as possible the total amount of hours you will really need with your nanny. Otherwise the full balance is payable to your nanny on completion of the booking.
We pride ourselves on the fact we are a fair and equal employer in Bali and it would not be fair for us to book out the nannies time & services and then our customers only use a small amount of hours. This would affect the nanny’s income & livelihood. We appreciate your understanding where this is concerned.
BOOKING CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
We will allow changes to booking times up to 7 days prior to your booking start date, subject to availability. This includes the total amount of hours you have booked your nanny for. For this reason, we suggest you estimate as close as possible the hours you will really need with your nanny. Otherwise the full balance is payable to your nanny on completion of the booking.
If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will incur a cancellation fee for the full deposit amount, plus the balance of the booking.
Please note: Your booking deposit is non-refundable as we are reserving the nanny specifically for your family and we will not book the nanny work with another family for these dates.
Whilst we have offered this option in the past for our full time nannies, unfortunately we can no longer offer this option because the traffic is very heavy in Bali now and this can mean our nannies are spending up to 2 hours each way traveling backwards and forwards in traffic. They do not live in the main tourist areas.
We suggest you discuss starting later some days with your nanny to allow you to go out to dinner etc.
If this is something that you really prefer, you can book a casual nanny for morning and a different casual nanny for the evening.
It is not a requirement for you to provide a meal break for your nanny. Your nanny will take downtime with the children and usually bring food with her each day. On occasions that you are present and your nanny needs to go out and buy a fresh meal, we appreciate that you let this occur. Unlike Australia or other western cultures, our staff eat freshly cooked meals each day including meat and rice and this is their cultural preference.
If you take your nanny out to dinner or lunch with you, it is customary for you to offer your nanny something to eat. Your nanny may not accept, please do not be offended, but it is always nice to offer 🙂

All of our baby seats are front facing, as this is all the vehicle will allow. Our vehicle can take 2 Adults and 2 children with baby seats and normal size luggage (no oversize luggage e.g large prams & surfboards).

Here are some of the common scenario’s we hear about in Bali.
Travellers have had excellent recommendation from a friend or relative about a particular freelance (independent) nanny or booking service. They decide to book directly. But then the nanny becomes ill or are suddenly required to attend a ceremony or family matters. They will cancel, send their sister or a friend to replace her. Surprise! It happens all the time in Bali – we know.
We don’t allow that, and you shouldn’t either. If anything goes wrong ….. nobody takes responsibility and there are no verified contingency or emergency plans. Another common occurrence is just prior to your trip they become un-contactable …. why? Because they got a bigger booking than yours, and now they start to ignore you. Or even worse, the nanny makes you pay upfront and then refuses to return your deposit / booking fee. Sadly …..it happens all the time.
And then there are the stories of when the nanny doesn’t show up or your belongings mysteriously dissapear. This is just devastating. Or when it doesn’t work out with a particular nanny because the kids don’t take to her, or she performs below your expectations or otherwise.
Some things to think about – whom do you complain to? who will send a replacement? If the nanny cancels will you get any of your deposit back and who will help you now at the last minute?
What happens when there is an emergency, your child becomes ill or requires a trip to the hospital?

We get messages all the time from families at the last minute that have solid plans and day trips booked (including weddings!) where they can no longer contact the nanny and are desperate for last minute assistance. Often we are not able to help them as we are fully booked 🙁
